| Hello Fellow ChartWatchers! | I need your help. I'm trying to decide which of our new ACP color schemes is my favorite. Our design team has released some amazing new looks, and I've narrowed it down to three – "Joker", "Matrix" and "Flat". To be honest though, it's a big toss up. "Breeze", "Turbo" and "Ice Cream" are all equally striking. What do you think? By the way, if you're wondering how color schemes can be of use in your charting, here's a quick tip. I use color schemes to differentiate between the various types of securities I analyze. I have different ChartStyles for stocks, ETFs, Mutual Funds and indexes, each with a different color scheme to help make sure I'm thinking about the chart from the right perspective. It may sound subtle, but particularly when transitioning from higher-level market analysis down to the individual positions in my portfolio, this clear visual difference between the charts creates a healthy, helpful contrast. To explore our latest chart color schemes, visit StockCharts.com/acp and click the color palette icon in the lefthand sidebar. Browse our extensive – and growing – collection of dark, light or "specialty" schemes and start charting with your favorites! | | Until next week, | | | |
