On Today's Show

On GPS at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. ET on CNN:

First, Fareed gives his take on the situation in Syria after France, the United States and United Kingdom launched joint military action on Friday evening.

Next, Fareed hosts a live panel to discuss the latest developments in Syria, and what might happen next. Joining him are former British Foreign Secretary David Miliband, now CEO of the International Rescue Committee, and Anne-Marie Slaughter, president and CEO of New America and a former director of Policy Planning for the US Department of State.

Also on the show: Less than a month ago, the UN Security Council was supposed to hear a report on the human rights situation in Syria. The person who was to brief the Council was Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. Fareed asks him what happened at that March 19 meeting, and why it is symbolic of the reason he is quitting his role.
