Trump Tweet Signals Yelp Presidency: President Trump goes after a small-business owner in Virginia

What the White House is Talking About:
President Trump and first lady Melania Trump host King Abdullah of Jordan and his wife, Queen Rania, at the White House at 2 p.m. Melania and the Queen will have tea in the Red Room while the President and the King hold an expanded bilateral meeting in the West Wing. Later, Trump departs Washington for South Carolina, where he will hold a rally for Gov. Henry McMaster.

What the White House Press Corps is Talking About:
The immigration debate stays top of mind for the press corps. Also, there's a White House briefing scheduled for 3:30 p.m. It will be the first time we've seen Sarah Sanders since the Red Hen incident (see below).

Trump Tweet Is Sign of Yelp Presidency:
This morning, the President attacked the small Virginia restaurant that asked Sarah Sanders and her family to leave on Friday night. Sanders said she "politely left" when the restaurant's owner asked her to do so. Instead of discussing the idea of civility or even political proclivities and free will, Trump opted to give a review of the place, saying it looked dirty.

Meanwhile, the DC restaurant Red Hen (unaffiliated with the Virginia restaurant where Sanders went, which I am reluctant to identify here because Trump does it anyway), has been egged and threatened.

And, if you have some time today, why not go back to this delightfully written restaurant review in Vanity Fair (December 2016), which sheds some light on what it's like to eat at Trump Tower's Trump Grill. You're welcome.

Also, one place *not* turning away Trump administration folks is the SoulCycle West End location -- this weekend, Louise Linton and her husband, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, went twice, once on Saturday and again on Sunday. A spy tells me that on Saturday she was front row, and he was in the row behind her. She was a seasoned pro, while he needed some practice. Perhaps Mnuchin is spinning away stress about the falling stock market...

Meanwhile, the Immigration Crisis Rages On:
There are a few new suggestions and implementations for undocumented families coming into the United States, but as for a legislative solution, Congress worked the weekend, however, it's not looking good for votes.

Our Daily Melania:
Yesterday evening, a few other members of the press and I hopped into a motorcade with Melania so she could make a surprise visit to the SADD annual conference (btw, SADD now stands for Students Against Destructive Decisions). The conference is being held at the Sheraton in Tysons Corner, and when we were ushered into the ballroom, there were about 400 kids and some parents joyfully singing along to show tunes from "Hairspray" and "High School Musical" -- and Neil Diamond -- coming through the sound system. None of them had been told the first lady was about to enter. When she was introduced by the SADD Student of the Year, they all screamed like it was Justin Bieber. Melania was ... a rockstar? On the downside, her speech was exactly 2.8 minutes, so the kids didn't have all that long to enjoy her presence before we were whisked out and back in the motorcade to the White House. She talked about kindness and being compassionate and treating one another with respect.

That Part of a New Relationship When You Pretend to Like What He Likes:
I feel like Kimberly Guilfoyle gave it the ol' college try this weekend, fishing and camping and doing outdoorsy stuff with her new boyfriend, Donald Trump Jr. If we're being honest, we've all probably done this before -- faked liking what the guy/girl likes in the beginning of a relationship. Check back with her in a year and I'm pretty sure Guilfoyle is not going to be in waders leaning over the side of a boat in Montana trying to catch a fish. But prove me wrong, KG.

Dress Like the First Lady:
Last night, Melania wore a simple white button-down shirt, and a mid-calf pencil skirt with light blue accents on the side.

The skirt is Calvin Klein 205W39NYC, and it's available here (on sale!) for $382.50. The detail at the pockets is pretty cool.

Happy Monday!:
Ahead of what could be a long and politically draining week, I flew out of town this morning to take a few days off to write -- and spotted this new bottle opener/magnet at the airport gift shop.
