| Hey There Fellow ChartWatchers! | In the markets, perspective is everything. Pull up a 2-year daily chart, and you'll uncover one particular perspective. But bring up the 5-year weekly chart, or the 45-day intraday action, and chances are you'll see things from an entirely new angle. Fortunately for us as technical analysts, we have the ability to move through time, zoom in, zoom out, and combine all of those different views to gain a more complete perspective on whatever stock, fund, index or other asset we're charting. So why not do it all on one screen? Well, that's exactly what we covered yesterday on "StockCharts In Focus". We dug into the GalleryView tools around the site, showing you how to chart the same symbol across multiple timeframes, all together on a single screen. We ran through the original GalleryView tool for SharpCharts, showed you how to customize your GalleryView charts, demonstrated how to view your ChartLists in GalleryView mode, and then jumped over to ACP and took a look at how you can create your own unique GalleryView layouts within the Advanced Charting Platform. Along the way, I highlighted how I personally use these multi-timeframe charting capabilities and detailed the specific chart settings I use for my custom layouts. So click the thumbnail below to watch this week's episode and see how you can start charting in multiple timeframes!
