It's day 7 and you’re halfway through! This is Brierley again, from Cooking Light. Today’s tip is to rein in stress eating. I haven’t told you yet, but I have a terrible sweet tooth. One of my biggest challenges, though, is feeling overwhelmed: it fans those sweets-craving flames. And I’m not alone: according to one survey, 80 percent of people say they eat more sweets when they’re stressed. So how do you avoid stress eating? Here are 5 solid suggestions for keeping sweet snacks at bay when tensions run high. But the top suggestion? Simply pay attention, and practice mindful eating.
